Access to an experienced physician for medical questions, assessment,
and treatment when clinically appropriate. Services are provided as
telephone consultation or house call.
You may contact us if you feel unwell, have questions about medication,
or need medical guidance regarding your symptoms.
Travellers
If you have lost or forgotten necessary medication during your trip,
the doctor can assess your situation and issue a prescription when
medically appropriate and permitted under Danish regulations.
Lægelinien operates as a private medical service that supplements
the public healthcare system.
When to contact Lægelinien?
You may contact Lægelinien when you need timely medical advice or
assessment. We assist with both acute symptoms and general health questions.
When acutely ill, we may assist with:
- Medical assessment and advice
- Diagnosis and treatment when clinically appropriate
- Guidance regarding relevant next steps
For chronic conditions:
Chronic diseases are usually best managed by your regular GP. If your
GP is unavailable, Lægelinien may assist with:
- Advice during acute worsening of existing conditions
- Questions regarding medication and prescriptions
- Review of medical information and clarification of treatment plans
For patient safety, addictive or controlled medication is not prescribed
based solely on telephone consultation. Antibiotics are prescribed only
when clinically indicated.
